Gundamagere Lake

Photography in January 2018 started with a visit to Gundamagere lake. This waterbody is close to the town of Chikballapur. More importantly, it is adjacent to the popular hiking trail to Makalidurga. These hillocks flank the lake on one side, and make mornings by the water extremely pleasant. Probably not very popular, Gundamagere does not see too many visitors from Bangalore.

If you plan to visit Makalidurga, you should stop by this lake. We plan to visit again to try some astro photography.
